Michael Flory

CEO & Visionary for Custom Built Design & Remodeling.

Michael brings over 2 decades of building and remodeling experience to his position as the Owner and Visionary of Custom Built. Michael’s passion to make an impact on the home building industry has led him to serve for over ten years at the local and state Home Builders Association, culminating as President of the HBA of Michigan in 2020.

Michael also has a strong passion for entrepreneurial business. Additionally, Michael strives to improve opportunities for youth to enter the construction fields, and has worked closely with Lansing Community College and organizations like the Mikey 23 Foundation to promote these gains. 

Michael strives to not only make positive changes in the construction industry and the lives of families but also in the community at large, which has led Custom Built to forge supportive relationships with local non-profit organizations such as Ele’s Place, The Mikey 23 Foundation, and Sleep in Heavenly Peace.

Michael lives in Williamston, MI, and enjoys spending time with his wife Cassie, and their 8 children. He loves to play sports, hike/camp in the Rocky Mountains, and relentlessly pursue personal growth and giving back.
